SWING (Southwest Ireland Golf Ltd) was founded in 1986. Starting out as a marketing company for the premier clubs in the South West, SWING has the honour of having being the first golf promotions company in Ireland, laying the foundations and setting the standard for all others to follow.
The company now promotes some of the world's famous golf courses in one of the most popular golf destinations, namely; Lahinch Golf Club, Dromoland Castle Golf & Country Club, Doonbeg Golf Club, Adare Manor Hotel & Golf Resort, Ballybunion Golf Club, Cork Golf Club, Tralee Golf Club, Dingle Golf Links (Ceann Sibeal), Killarney Golf & Fishing Club, Dooks Golf Club, Old Head Golf Links, Ring of Kerry Golf & Country Club, Waterville Golf Links and Fota Island Golf Resort. SWING operates a highly professional ground handling and tee-time reservation service. While promoting the South West of Ireland, its operations cover all of Ireland servicing individuals, groups and tour operators. Its markets are worldwide and include UK, Europe, USA, Canada and Australia.

The executive of SWING Paddy O'Looney and Brendan Keogh has been with the company since its inception. In fact Paddy is better known as "Ireland's Golf Ambassador", being a scratch golfer for most of his career and having represented his country at International amateur events. He trained in the hospitality industry and his uncanny knack for opening influential doors is legendary, a trait that has benefited not only the South West of Ireland but also Ireland as a whole. Brendan, a 7 handicapper, whose passion for golf started when he caddied at his local club, Killarney Golf & Fishing Club. His business and finance background allied with Paddy's promotional skills has ensured the success of SWING to date. Rosa, Eileen and Michelle, with 20 years experience between them, complete the team. The result is, SWING is known for its professional and high quality of service.
