Things you should know...
Caddies
Caddies are available in limited numbers at all SWING courses and vary
in cost depending on whether they are senior, junior or bag pullers.
Caddies can be requested in advance but cannot be guaranteed. Senior and
junior caddies will normally carry 2 bags (a double) and it is advisable
to hire at least one caddy per fourball. Fees are cleared with the caddy
master and 'tip' is at the discretion of the golfer.
Equipment Hire
Club hire is available at all the SWING clubs through the
Professional/Golf Club Shops. It is advisable to book in advance. Bring
your own golf shoes.
Pull Carts/Electric Carts (Buggies)
Pull carts are available at all clubs for a small fee. Electric carts
are available in limited numbers at most of the SWING courses.
Some of the links courses do not permit the use of electric carts. These
should be booked in advance.
Handicap Certificates
It is advisable to bring a handicap certificate from your home club.
Golf Lessons
Golf lessons can be arranged by SWING with the resident professional at
any of the courses or booked directly on the day of play if required.
Golf Shoes
A growing number of clubs are adopting a 'soft spike' policy although
metal spikes are still allowable on many of the SWING courses. Spikes
can be changed in all pro shops.
Dress Code
Smart casual attire is expected at all SWING clubs. Knee length shorts
and collared shirts are permissible.
Clubhouses
All SWING golf clubs offer full bar and catering facilities and golf
apparel and souvenirs can be purchased at the well-stocked 'pro shops'
at each location.
