The golf was terrific, as you all well know.
The accommodations were truly gracious, elegant and luxurious, and we felt quite at home.
We all enjoyed ourselves immensely. Travel between lodgings & courses was fascinating, food wonderful, and everyone as pleasant as can be. I should note we had especially good dinners at the Spa outside Tralee and the Half Door in Dingle.
We intend to return to Ireland, but likely either Dublin or the north and west next. Do you operate in other areas of Ireland as well?

Our vacation was fabulous! Thank you so much for all your help and efforts. It truly was perfect. We had such a wonderful time exploring and golfing. Ireland is a wonderful country full of exceptionally nice people.
The golf was difficult so the 19th hole was always a priority and never a disappointment. We loved all the lodging. Adare, of course, felt so royal. Mary, at the 19th Lodge was so lovable. The Killarney Lodge had a great location. We should have allowed more time there. The Dylan Hotel was fantastic. I loved the modern decor and very chic feeling. The staff there was incredible!
To attend the Solheim Cup in Ireland was an experience of a lifetime. Congratulations Team Europe! To watch the top 24 Ladies playing golf with their heart and soul for the honor of their country was so exhilarating and inspiring. Both teams were winners! It was a grand way to end our visit to Ireland.
We arrived home exhausted and refreshed at the same time, which further confirmed what a wonderful vacation we had.

Actually, we did have a great time.
Old Head is beyond words from all of our group.Ballybunion was great. Absolutely loved the old course there. Really liked Tralee a lot as well. Loved both Cork and Fota as well. Very nice parkland courses. Cork even had a slight links feel with the holes that run along the river/inlet there. Very nice as well.
Next trip would be north/Dublin and then Scotland so probably be a couple more years before we're back to SW Ireland but will absolutely contact you when our next trip takes us there.

The car was fine for the three of us. The golf course bookings went without a hitch, with no complaints when we cancelled. The hotels proved to be fine, the facilities and staff were excellent. Services were good, and proximity to towns was nice.

I had not forgotten you. I am just tardy. We had a great time in Ireland and stopped in Eastern Canada on our way home to visit family and some old friends.
Everything you had organized was good. The only comment we would make is that we only got to play a few holes at Lahinch. I realize that I requested that routing but in retrospect it would have been better if we had started with the European Club and gone the other way around if we could have successfully gotten tee times and then maybe we would not have run into a tournament or had to back tract either.
We loved Old Head and had a beautiful day to play it. Ballybunion was still very high on the men's list and I really liked Doonbeg as did they. The one day we had rain was at Portmarnock. There was also a high wind that day so the two together made it difficult and not fun!! But it too is a great course.
Our accommodation was good. The Cashen Course House we especially liked. We had a great view at the Trident and of course I have a special place in my heart for Kinsale. We had good food and of course the people everywhere are delightful.
All in all we were very happy with our experience and would happily recommend you and Swing. I know our son will go back at some point to play some of those courses again. Should he make any further comments when we talk to him, I will pass them on to you.

It is hard to believe, but this most recent trip to Northern Ireland and the Dublin area was every bit the equal of our Southwest trip a few years ago. The courses were perfect, the transportation first class, and the weather surprisingly lovely. We had zero complaints.
Our lodging was great. We expected Bushmills Inn and Slieve Donard to be great and they were. They nice little surprise was the Aberdeen Lodge in Dublin. Accommodations were terrific and the breakfast each morning was by far the nicest of the week.
We are already looking forward to another few trips: The Dublin area down through Old Head, and the Northwest... We will be back in touch for those!

I cannot even begin to tell you how much the boys enjoyed our ‘SWING’ through Southwest Ireland this past week.
But I most certainly can tell you how supremely professional and helpful Ms. Eileen Boyle has been throughout. If one wants to take a golf tour thru the grandest of links on the planet - the great SouthWest of Ireland - they must work with Swing Golf Ireland!
The accommodations were first-rate, the pubs and restaurants fantastic, and the links we played were truly unforgettable... Lahinch, Doonbeg, Ballybunion, Tralee, Waterville, Killarney-Killeen, Old Head. And I must also applaud our driver/chauffer of Kerry Coaches - a true Irish gentleman, and hard-worker, if ever I met one.
The Good Lord was smilin' down upon the Murphy Group for seven days... only a brief spot of rain at Lahinch, and a short mist at Old Head. Otherwise, unbelievably perfect weather!
Thank you, Brendan, for running a great operation. We left four 'non-qualifiers' for our annual trip back in the States. So next time, we might have twelve!

Since last Friday, 26/08/2011 we returned from our wonderful SouthWest Ireland holiday. We would like to thank you for the excellent planning and organization of all golf courses and accommodations. Everything worked perfectly. The tee times in the golf clubs and the hotels and lodges were booked in advance of you well.
The whole experience thoroughly enjoyed us, especially the great golf courses in the Counties of Kerry and Clare. Also the accommodations were very good, especially to emphasize is the Vauhgan Lodge in Lahinch, which also remembered us with an excellent cuisine and a very friendly and competent service. All in all, once again many thanks and best wishes from Germany.

Vaughans and the Malton were great. I'd play Lahinch, Waterford, Ballybunion twice.

Our trip was perfect!!!!i I was just having dinner her in the states with a group of people who want to go to Ireland and I said Rosa O"Shea is the girl! What I love is that since I like to plan the itinerary you fill in the golf times and set up just what we need. But this time you out did yourself! When we ordered the coach I thought it would be OK.. it was fantastic! It was beyond my expectations because of our exceptional driver fom Kerry Coaches.
Normally I ask a lot of questions about each detail of the trip. But I left the driver in your hands and it couldn't have been more perfect. He was the most affable, sweetest, most knowledgable, courteous, fun driver we ever could have had. When I booked the driver since I had a set itinerary I never thought he would also be a tour guide!! WHAT A BONUS! (he also likes Van Morrison and the Chieftans which was fantastic for me!!!)
It was all so perfect I will always recommend Swing Golf to anyone who wants to go to Ireland,,,Rosa as my planner and Dennis as my driver! Next time I hope to go to a pub and have a pint with both for making my Irish days so perfect!
Miss the green grass, mist, knowing that Rosa has booked the tee times, and that Dennis is driving listening to Van or Lunausa.

I wanted to circle back you to let you know what an awesome trip to Southwest Ireland that the 8 of us had. In my opinion, each of the hotels were excellent with my favorite being the 4 Bedroom suite at Doonbeg; that made for a great finish to the trip. The golf was terrific and overall we feel like we got very lucky with the weather. We played quite a bit of golf but to a man all of us enjoyed playing and experiencing each of the courses.
The bus experience was a little rough although the bus driver was excellent and helped to make that work as well as it could. For a group that wants to play Old Head I would definitely recommend flying into Cork and starting the trip there or finishing the trip at Old Head and flying out of Cork.
The highlight of the trip was having the opportunity to hang out with 7 great guys. You played a key role in enabling that male bonding plus everything else to happen. I appreciate all that you did for us in helping make the trip such a success and I’d be delighted to recommend both you and Swing Golf Ireland to any of my friends that may be heading to the Emerald Isle in the future. I just wanted to tell you that our trip was perfect. We really enjoyed ourselves both on course and off. The guest houses we stayed at were all excellent, especially Killarney Lodge and Perryville.
The courses were all extraordinary. The rainbows over Waterville were vibrant but our all-time favourite course was Old Head, a truly magnificent and magical place. Kinsale was our favourite town. We even stopped on one of our "non-golfing days" to play Killarney. We just couldn't resist. The Killeen course was lovely.
Anyway, I want to thank you for all of your work (and patience). If we ever make it back to do another trip, we'll contact you again. The entire experience was sheer pleasure.

I went on one of your arranged trip in March this year for my 40th borthday. We played the bigger named courses and stayed pretty much on site. The course conditioning was just fabulous and the big names didnt disappoint.
The hospitality at the courses and accommodations was exceptional and were even invited to play extra holes gratis. All the accommodation and breakfasts were excelent and the whole trip a real life experience and superb value for money.

In 2002 my favorite course was Lahinch and it was up there this time but Doonbeg has made such great improvements and softened the course a little for us high handicappers that it we had our best time there.
We also had the best caddie of the week there. We had a great caddie at Ballybunion also. But then, nothing beats Old Head for the view. One should go there every year to clean out their golf bag of old balls.
The Hotel was the best accommodation. They have a reception person there, who was wonderful. We also took advantage of the free admission to the water park down the street. Tralee was a pleasant change from Killarney.
My favorite hotel for the view was in Spanish Point near Lahinch. It wasn't new but it was like a fine old lady sitting on the point of the bay. Nice people there too. They gave me a piece of cake with a candle for my birthday.
Of course, SWING was the best agent.

Thanks for all your help in organising our recent tour to Lahinch and Doonbeg. Everything ran extremely smoothly and the itinerary you organised was spot on. The Castle Course was a good way to ease into our weekend (not that you'd know it from our scorecards). Lahinch Old Course was everything we had hoped for..beautiful views, memorable signature holes and punishing rough. Doonbeg was the perfect course to finish: challenging but fair (few blind shots), impeccably maintained and extremely picturesque.
The Collins Cup competition went down to the final match. I was leading the other captain 3up with four to play...and choked my way to a draw. Call me the Anti-McDowell. Still, my team retained the trophy and we had a wonderful weekend thanks to you and Swing Golf Ireland.

Hello Rosa! I just want you to know that we had the best time in your country! Your countrymen and women treated us with open minds (thankfully) and arms. The golf was second to none! We even through in an extra round at Portmarnock the first day my brother and our other buddy flew in. We had mostly good weather and little rain considering what we could have had. The accommodations were fantastic. Doonbeg and Oldhead were the best. Rosa, you did a great job! The only suggestion I can make is that the golf trip should finish at Old Head - you just can't beat it! It's the best golf course on the planet.

I have been most impressed with everything Swing Golf Ireland has done for us on our trip and what you have done with Hertz - your persistence has really paid off. We truly enjoyed ourselves and meeting you and Brandon was a fine day for us. It was a little bit of a challenge finding the hotel in Killarney, but the location was great.The drive to Ring of Kerry was most scenic but a bit challenging so when we arrived at the course I was a bit stressed out and didn't play my best golf.We took the shortcut back to Killarney and saw several rainbows along the way. Killeen was a beautiful and challenging course and they were most hospitable.

Just got back last night after spending a few days in Sligo and Dromoland. The pics came out great!. If you want to throw the group pic on the site that would be fine.
I didn't play Killarney & Dooks but heard the boys were treated well - as expected. Waterville & Tralee are always so welcoming to us. Eugene is the best and always goes out of his way for us. Killarney G & F is always predictably great to us. Then there was Ennis GC - the course served our purpose and it was very convenient for us, so overall it was fine.
The lodgings were both outstanding places to stay and we would definitely look at both again. If you want other pics, we'll send some along. I'm straight out for a few days trying to catch up, but I'll give you a call next week. Best to Brendan and thanks for all your efforts!

I am well, thank you. Everything went great! We all thought Ireland was an amazing place to visit.
The weather held up well for the most part, better than expected actually. Unfortunately we were fogged in at Old Head so we missed most of the great views yet it still was great fun (we had caddies that pointed out the direction to hit). All the courses were fantastic, especially Ballybunion Old and Waterville.
The lodging was excellent as well, they were beyond our expectations. We also found some great restaurants so the food was fantastic as well.
Needless to say, we all were thrilled with the trip. Thank you so much for your help. I apologize for not writing to thank you for your help. I certainly will recommend anyone to use you if they are planning to go to Ireland. I can envision our group returning in a few years.

To all at SWING
So sorry that we didn't get the opportunity to stop in for a visit while in Tralee. Our schedule kept us busy. By the way, Tralee Golf Club was the most popular course among our group. The views were breathtaking and the back nine is the best I have ever seen.
We had the best time imaginable! Six out of seven days were 70 degrees; we ran out of clean Bermuda shorts! Our caddie at Tralee said that Irish school children insist that the best weather of the year is the first week back in school.
The accomodations were excellent. It is almost unfair to single one out because everything was so nice. But, we particularly enjoyed the accommodation in Ballybunion. The building looks brand new, first class, and was spotlessly clean. They took very good care of us.
We have already passed the information on Swing Golf on to friends planning a trip next year. I think that it is safe to say that we will be coming back again in the not too distant future. We look forward to working with you again.

We returned on Tuesday evening from a fantastic trip. How did you organize 12-straight dry days (less than two minutes of rain) - nearly all with sunny and toasty warm weather? Wow. No blemishes at all - the courses were in wonderful shape and very accommodating. I had particularly good rounds at Ballybunion and Dooks, so I have particularly good memories of those rounds, but I thought Lahinch, Waterville and Tralee (what an amazing visual setting at Tralee) were spectacular as well. If you can organize another week of super weather, sign me up. Thanks so much for your help.
The weather remained so good, that my wife and I traveled through the Gap of Dunloe and over to the Skelligs on two spectacular days.

Swing Golf Ireland really knows how to plan a golfing and sightseeing trip! We were never disappointed--because every thing was delightful. We even had some of the best weather that Ireland has seen this year.
Our driver picked us up as planned at the airport. We had a lovely drive down to Kinsale--a charming fishing port. The Hotel offered a beautiful view and great beds--even though it was a little old. While the husband's played golf at Old Head, our driver took the ladies to a charming town of Cobh for sightseeing and shopping. The fellows definitely thought Old Head was the most spectacular and difficult course.
From there we traveled on to our hotel in Killarney. This was the perfect hotel. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were extraordinary. They served an extensive breakfast each day and everything was conveniently located to it. We all loved golfing at Ballybunion, Waterville and Tralee. All of them were different and each one more spectacular than the last. One of our favorite trips was traveling to Dingle. The views were more beautiful with each mile along the way.
The Dublin Hotel was conveniently located in Dublin and very nice. The breakfast there were so repetitive that by the 4 day we were a little tired of the choices. The Hop on Hop Off bus gave us a overview of the city and we could walk to most of the sights.
We are so thankful for our driver. He not only kept us safe, but made it easy to move from place to place. Some of the roads were very narrow and difficult to maneuver. He also helped us make arrangements to get to the airport at the end of our stay--was a special surprise.
Thank you again for helping us make all the arrangements for what we all agreed was an outstanding holiday in Ireland. We would recommend Swing Golf Ireland to anyone planning a trip to Ireland.

Let me first thank you and your organization for putting the trip together for us. I have recommended your group to several of my friends and will recommend you to others. As for the courses, Portstewart was an excellent first course to play, we had members as caddies who helped tremendously and then showed us around the club. We also met many other local golfers who added to the experience. The Dunluce course was one of the top three of the trip, the Valley course was pleasant and were pleased to play it once. The 2 18 hole courses provided a superb day of golf.
Portsalon is the true hidden gem and must be recommended to anyone traveling in the area. The course has great views and superb links golf. County Down was also a top three course and a not to be missed experience.
Ballyliffin needs to be revisited by us as we played it on a very windy day without caddies. That being said, we had a memory trip and thank you for all your excellent work.

What a spectacular time we had in Ireland! We could not have dreamed up a more challenging and varied mix of courses to play. We began our journey at Lahinch and were amazed at the trek through the dunes. One could feel the tradition in the air! We lucked out at Dooks and it was difficult to focus on the golf with the wonderful views of Dingle Bay. The Killeen Course at Killarney certainly reminded us of courses at home but we played from the tips so we could brag about playing the course that will host the Irish Open in a few weeks. What a test! Our accommodations were wonderful and a side trip to the Cliffs of Moher, a day spent hiking through the Gap of Dunloe and many visits to colorful pubs made our time fly by much too quickly. We felt at home wherever we stopped and if it wasn't for all the cars travelling on the wrong side of the road I would have been completely at ease the whole week! And I must add that you did a great job in dialing in fantastic weather for us. I was delighted with the way the trip went for our Betty Swollocks 15th Anniversary Tour. Feed back from many of the 21 travellers is that it was the best tour that they have been on ( and we have been touring for many years!). All 12 of us arrived home safely on Wednesday afternoon and the unanimous consensus is that this was the "Best Trip Ever". The accommodations were great and the golf was better than we expected. We experienced no glitches, which doesn't happen often when 12 guys are travelling together for a week. The motor coach was extremely comfortable and our driver Donie was well liked by everyone. When I asked if you could guarantee good weather, I was only fooling around. How did you pull that off? We had not even a trace of rain and the temperatures remained between 68 and 80 degrees F. SWING did a very good job arranging tee times and hotels and we are very grateful.

I have lost count of how many times I have returned to Ireland, but as I get longer in the tooth, I wanted this one to be special. It was! The only thing I would change about this trip would be the flight back to Atlanta.
It took several years to discover that we wanted to make our base in one hotel rather than moving from city like some kind of duffer gypsies. We were much younger, 36 a day and combine the north, Dublin, and the southwest on the same trip. Once with 12 on a bus with 29 seats that were obviously designed for nobody larger than a midget, or maybe an elf. Paddy knows that on past trips, I considered the ground transportation to be the weakest link. Mike's new 12 passenger coaches would have made some those marathons seem like a sprint. Not only was the coach completely comfortable, but Pa was a wonderful travelling companion. If you book groups with Pa and the Mercedes coach, I suspect you won't get many complaints.
I met Paddy O'Looney on the telephone in the early 90's. We were good friends from several conversations well before we met face to face. So, the scenery is great, the golf is terrific, but the most important ingredient is the friendliness of the people. You either have it, or you don't, it can't be faked. That first day at Ashford Castle, Joan remarked that the staff acted like they really enjoyed their jobs. I was in the service business for 36 years, and I observed that only those who truly like people act like they love their jobs. The Killarney Lodge doesn't advertise room service, but that is what they did for the member of our group who was sick for 24 hours. The Bandon Dunes complex in Oregon has terrific links golf, and I have been there 4 times, but nobody would recognize me there. They could look in the computer, and see how many, when, even how much we spent, but the personal touch is lacking when compared with the Irish golf experience.
You asked about the home clubs of the group. All 12 belong to the Piedmont Driving Club in Atlanta, but everyone or almost everyone also belongs to other clubs. Most, but not all consider the Driving Club home. A few of the other clubs include Pablo Creek in Jacksonville, Florida, Palma Ceia in Tampa, Capital City Club in Atlanta, Peachtree Golf Club in Atlanta, and Royal St. George's in London.I hope that we will be able financially, and physically to return many more times.

The golf courses were all very challenging and we were quite lucky with the weather, we only had rain on two days, and even went home with some colour in our cheeks ! We are thinking about a short break possibly mid September, two golfers to play Adare Manor and Dromoland Castle, and two double rooms for a three night stay dinner,bed and breakfast(obviously two non golfers too).Would you like to look into this for us ?

As you know, we had all kinds of weather - a 5 club wind at Waterville, 18 holes of rain at Tralee + a beautiful day at Ballybunion . There really wasn't a weak track on our Irish rota. We all probably would agree that Lahinch was the most difficult course, but still very fun to play . Everyone enjoyed Tralee despite the rain. Only four of us got to play the European Club, but we liked it a lot. One of the consistently dependable things you can count on when traveling through Ireland is that the Irish are unusually friendly. Where ever we went the hospitality was superb. Also, I think the schedule worked out really well. We never felt rushed. We always had time for cocktails + craic after our round. Frankly, I could not be more pleased with the way everything went. We all want to, and I am certain, will come back again. Thanks once again for all your expert assistance in pulling all of this together for us.

I just wanted to take the time to email you guys to say thank you so much for all your help with our parent's golf trip to the South West of Ireland. They were in heaven and couldn't thank us enough for their 60th Birthday present. Everything went smoothly. Their ranking favourites were Tralee, Waterville, Lahinch, and Ballybunion, but there was very little difference between their ravings of each course. From greens being nestled between dunes to half of a course being on the water were some of their course highlights, and my mother's favourite was the fact that the low tide showed waves breaking so far out from the beach or cliffs...all the views and courses were "truly spectacular". The hospitality of the Irish at all the clubs and hotels, my parents said was incredible. They felt they were treated like gold, everywhere they went. I can't believe I am back home already it went by so fast but Oh what a wonderful time we had. I just wanted to thank you both again for setting this all up, it really exceeded our expectations. It was great to start at Adare where we got our swings going. Had a wonderful time at the local pub watching Ireland getting beaten in the rugby match and then headed back to the castle and had a late night Irish Coffee (which we then had to have every night) in the library next the fire. The drive out from Killarney to Waterville was fantastic, it was a beautiful day and the golf was even better. We all agreed that Tralee was our favourite course, so beautiful and the wind was blowing like crazy but it was as though it was part of the golf course, we loved it. We kept bumping into all these American men that are over there playing and hey were totally amazed that we had left our husbands at home and were out playing golf on these courses. They all wanted to buy us drinks because they could not believe we were there. One group of men actually walked off Tralee when the wind was howling and the rain was pelting us and we got an ovation when we walked back into the clubhouse looking like drowned rats but we did finish. We had a wonderful time finding our way around Ireland, it was not bad at all once I had got used to the traffic circles again. Thank you again.

All the courses we played were in fantastic shape and the staffs could not have been friendlier. In fact, we were very impressed with the hospitality we met. I have travelled to over 20 countries and have never felt more welcome than in Ireland. Finally , please let me say how much I enjoyed working with you. You are so responsive, professional and helpful. At the end of our trip, my friends raised a glass to me to thank them for planning the trip - they should have been toasting you. I can speak for the group when I say we had a great time. Of course the fact that we had super weather may have helped. It rained on the back nine at Lahinch Old, and that was it. As we finished Ballybunion on the last day, it started to rain. Of course, it was dry in the bar!
