SWANSEA TO CORK ROUTE RETURNS

The revived Swansea to Cork route commenced in March 2010
This ferry service saves 600km (375 miles) driving on a round trip and connects the M4 Motorway in the UK directly to Cork on Ireland's South coast. The service will offer overnight sailing 6 nights a week (Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday from Cork and Wednesday, Friday & Sunday from Swansea) departing at 21:00 and arriving at 7:00 the next morning. Additional sailings will be added in the high season.
The MV Julia has capacity for up to 1,300 passengers, 440 cars, 40 trucks and over 300 cabins on board for a comfortable journey. Facilities include a selection of restaurants, bars, shops, cinema, children's area and comfortable kennels available for your pets.
Fastnet Line - the direct, enjoyable route to south-west Ireland from London, Wales, the south and the midlands.

Excitement is building, ashore and on board as the inaugral sailing from Cork to Swansea of the impressive MV Julia approaches on 1st March 2010.
Visitors to the South West of Ireland will be delighted with the host of attractions on offer - a large range of superb golf courses withinn easy access on arrival in Cork, live gigs with international stars in Cork City, walking tours across several counties, salining/surfing events, arts festivals and food festivals.
MV Julia is a comfortable, sturdy and beautifully appointed passenger/car ferry which will also carry commercial freight, campers/caravans and pets. This all round service will run 6 nights a week, with additional sailings in high-season, ie July and August.
