The Course

The Old of Kinsale is one of the world’s most majestic golf courses. Perched on the rugged cliffs of southern Ireland, Old Head is regarded as a bucket list golf course for every golfer to play.

The course itself comprises of five par 5s, five par 3s and eight par 4s with a minimum of six tees per hole. With a maze of natural caves and cliffs underfoot, you’ll play nine holes along the cliff tops, with all eighteen holes providing stunning sea views.

Old Head prides itself on offering visitors the best in service, blending the comfort of Irish hospitality with the professionalism expected from a world-class golf club.

Guests can dine in the five-star Courcey Dining Room while gazing on the picturesque lighthouse, enjoy an al fresco option at The Terrace, or partake in light bites and a drink in the Lusitania Bar.

Another option enjoyed by Old Head visitors is Course Dining; choose tasty ‘to go’ bites like oysters and champagne on their unique turn-around buffet, or arrange for the mobile Food Cart to provide you with beverages, light snacks and cigars as you make your way around the course.
