Hi Tommy,

Thank you so much for your help with getting this trip together for us.

We had a great trip.  They checked our vaccination cards and passenger locator forms before we boarded here in the states and when we were returning they checked the results of the COVID antigen test at the Dublin airport – we were all negative of course. We did use the Abbott Binaxnow test while in Sligo and it worked well – they monitored the test over the internet and then emailed the validation of the negative results to us. I think we all felt very safe the entire trip. I hadn’t eaten in a restaurant or been in a bar since the start of this pandemic but, as we ate every meal around other people on this trip, things were fine as we usually weren’t too close to others and people were good about masks, etc.

We only had rain a couple of times and only once, at Ardglass, was it really bad. We only played nine holes there but that was okay as we were jet lagged anyway.  The caddies at RCD and Royal Portrush we’re excellent for having to deal with four not so great golfers.  They told us we were only the third American group they’d had since the pandemic started.  Regarding accommodations, all were really great. We didn’t have any problems finding pubs/restaurants and had a lot of good meals.

Anyway, we all enjoyed the trip greatly and thank you again for your help.

Very best regards,

Jerry
