Mark O’Meara has played golf many times, especially on the SWING courses such as Ballybunion and Waterville.
“I can’t thank the SWING Golf courses enough for the part they played in my British Open Victory at Royal Birkdale in 1998. I am thankful for having so many opportunities to play such golfing gems. I know it’s a cliché, but it is always great to renew my acquaintance with the Land of my Ancestors. It has been my great pleasure to bring friends of mine to the South West of Ireland and have them welcomed like family. My good friend Tiger Woods has used the SWING golf courses as a launch pad for British Open success and I will always remember Payne Stewart (RIP) shooting a hole in one on Ballybunion’s 220 yard par three, third hole.
