Par 3 17th White Horses

Just like the 17th at Sawgrass except more natural. This is 140 yards of terror especially when the wind blows. So take aim, take care and good luck and if all fails, enjoy the view.

Things to do

Submerge yourself in the unique experience that is a seaweed bath. A steam bath filled with hot sea water and seaweed has a range of therapeutic benefits. The high concentration of vitamins contained in the seaweed serve to relax and refresh the body and mind.

For the history and literature buffs in your group we recommend a trip to Drumcliffe Round Tower and High Cross. This site is a monastic settlement, and also the burial place of the famous Irish Poet W.B. Yeats. Its importance dates from 574 AD when St Colmcille founded a monastery here. The remains of the monument are that of Sligo’s only round tower or bell tower, a high cross and a fragment of a plain high cross.
