Trump International Golf Links & Hotel, Doonbeg is one of Ireland’s top golf resorts and only 5 Star Hotel with a championship Links Course. Opened in 2002, the Greg Norman designed 18th-hole layout is years ahead of its time.

The course is set in stunning natural surroundings, from the wilderness of the Atlantic Ocean, that dominates the golfer’s line of vision, to the near-100 foot sand dunes that frame the links course.

The Wild Atlantic Ocean laps the 1.5 mile beach that stretches alongside the challenging and thought-provoking links course.

Originally designed be Greg Norman and redesigned in 2014 by renowned Course Architect Dr. Martin Hawtree, it is not only recognised as one of Ireland’s top courses but also among the elite of European Courses.

With views of the Atlantic accompanying, you for 16 of its 18 holes, there’s plenty of time for strategizing and reflection in the grandest and open of environments.

Pro Golf Shop at Doonbeg

Located down the staircase from Trump’s Bar & Restaurant and fronting onto the main courtyard, the Pro Golf Shop at Doonbeg is designed to offer you mementoes, large and small, of your time there. Trump Doonbeg’s golf shop clothing offers a wide range of items including prestigious brands and items fashioned from cashmere and other luxurious materials. They also stock an extensive amount of golfing equipment, including clubs, bags and shoes.

Driving range

The driving range at Trump International Golf Links Ireland, previously Doonbeg Golf Club, holds 20 bays with targets. Our range is over 300 yards in length with hitting areas at either side to give golfers a choice based on the wind direction. The range has 6 target greens at varying distances from the hitting areas.

Food & Drink

Trump’s Bar & Restaurant looks out onto the Atlantic and across the 18th green with the majestic cliffs of Moher in the distance.

This unique bar and restaurant in County Clare is celebrated for its atmospheric warm Irish ambience, a place that welcomes locals, guests and golfers alike, indulging in hearty meals and sharing tall tales of their travels on the Wild Atlantic Way. Discover pints of stout pulled to perfection and an abundance of local craft ales and artisan gins.

For fine dining you can opt for the award-winning Ocean View Restaurant, overlooking Doughmore Bay. Here, you will find local seasonal produce complemented by an expansive wine list and inviting service.

Things to do

Guests can relax in the luxury spa resort. A selection of spa and body treatments are offered to help your golfer’s elbow or simply to help aid a restful night’s sleep in the luxurious accommodation.

A visit to Doonbeg village is recommended. If you feel culturally enriched and invigorated afterwards, the hotel offers a genealogy service for tracing your Irish heritage.

County Clare, home to The Burren, is one of the most visited counties in Ireland. Local attractions and potential day trips include the ever-impressive Cliffs of Moher, the Aillwee Caves, Bunratty Castle and the historic Aran Islands.
