Portstewart Golf Club was founded in 1894. It is a links course located 3 miles west of Portrush on the Causeway Coast, Co Derry.

Portstewart is one of the few Clubs in Ireland with three 18 hole golf courses – the Old Course (par 64), the Riverside Course (par 68), and the Strand Course (par 72).

The Strand Course

The jewel in the Portstewart crown is undoubtedly the Strand Course. The Irish Open won by rising world star Jon Rahm was played here in 2017 adding to the popularity of the course. It is a true test of golf set on classic links land, with elevated tees, towering sand dunes and rolling valleys which all combine to give a fascinating challenge of traditional golf. There are spectacular views at every turn of the Donegal Hills, Atlantic Ocean and the River Bann.
