The on-going covid-19 pandemic has caused change and disruption to all our lives. Various short to medium term travel restrictions across the world mean that discerning golfers will not have the opportunity to experience our beautiful golf courses and surrounding sites of the South West of Ireland for the coming months. Despite this setback South West Ireland Golf are working with our many service providers and valued customers each day to come to arrangements that guarantee satisfaction for all concerned. With the help of our member courses we have already been able to move or reschedule tours over the next couple of months to later this year or onto to 2021 while always putting the safety and happiness of our customers first. We are committed to maintaining this same approach which has seen us enjoy 33 distinguished years in business before this pandemic and will hopefully continue to do so long after this testing time has passed.
It may be difficult to look too far forward at this stage, but we are sure there will pent up desires to travel once this episode ends. If you would like the opportunity to take your mind off everything currently taking place and look at planning a trip in 2021 or later while getting immersed in one of the world’s greatest golf destinations, please feel free to contact info@Swinggolfireland.com today and we would be delighted to assist you .
Stay safe and healthy and together we will beat this virus and get back to normality hopefully sooner rather than later.

Irish Open Courses: Killarney Killeen, Ballybunion Old, Adare plus a free round on Ballybunion Cashen
Killarney Killeen is one of three parkland courses at Killarney Golf & Fishing Club, located 3 miles west of Killarney Town. It is nestled amidst the splendour of the famous Killarney lakes with the spectacular backdrop of the Macgillycuddy Reeks, the highest mountain range in Ireland. The Killeen Course is the jewel in the crown, offering spectacular lakeside scenery but is the most challenging of the three. It is consistently rated amongst the world’s top courses. At 6564 metres it will challenge long hitters with accuracy being vital as there is water on virtually every hole.
Killeen was the host venue of the 2010 and 2011 Irish Open with England’s Ross Fisher and Simon Dyson emerging the respective winners.
Length: 7,123 yards
Ballybunion’s Trent Jones Cashen Course, located along the sweeping, undisturbed shoreline, was founded in 1981 and offers breathtaking views throughout. There is a wild look to the place. Long grass covers the dunes that pitch and roll throughout the course. With its succession of formidable par fives and breathtaking beauty, amply qualifies as one of the world’s masterpieces. Every hole, every hazard and every shot is defined by nature’s infinite presence.
Length: 6,802 yards
Adare Golf Club, founded in 1995 is situated on an 840-acre estate located in the village of Adare, 22 miles South of Shannon International Airport. Stretching 7,453 yards from the championship tees, this majestic parkland course includes lakes, historic ruins, subtly undulating greens, many magnificent mature trees and Mr. Jones signature cloverleaf bunkers. A 14-acre lake dominates the front nine and the back nine is routed through a heavily wooded area of the estate, with the beautiful River Maigue dominating the finishing holes and the Adare Manor acting as a majestic backdrop. The 18th hole ranks as one of the best ever designed by Robert Trent Jones Snr. “The best finishing par 5 in the world.” Robert Trent Jones Snr.
